MEDICARE ADVANTAGE VS. MEDICARE SUPPLEMENT

Below is a side by side comparison of the benefits of medicare advantage plans VS. medicare supplement plans.  Each person has unique circumstances and must decide which option is best for them.  Typically supplement plans are much more expensive than advantage plans but the benefits are richer and copays tend to be lower.  Advantage plans to have some added perks you won't find with a supplement.  And don't forget prescription drug coverage.  Most advantage plans will include that coverage while the supplements will require you to purchase a separate prescription drug plan which usually ranges $20-$100/month.
